PasteIT™ 1.0 — a lowly apprentice production - 6/14/93
PasteIT is an XTension for use with QuarkXPress® 3.11 or greater. This XTension will allow you to cut/copy an item from one page/spread and paste it on another page at the exact location it was copied from.
For example, if you were to cut a box (or even a group) from page one, that was 1" over and 1" down from the top left page corner. Then you pasted that object (using PasteIT) on page three. It would be pasted 1" over and 1" down from the top left corner of page three.
PasteIT is simple to use, hold down the option-key prior to selecting Cut, Copy or Paste from the edit menu. The entries in the Edit menu now say CutIT, CopyIT, and PasteIT. These three new options perform the exact same function as Cut, Copy and Paste but they remember where the object was copy/cut from so it can be pasted in that same location on its new page.
